What the University publishes
The University of Education, Lahore keeps a page called Details of Institutions under its Affiliated Colleges section. The page itself carries no table; it links to a PDF for each affiliation year. The current document is “List of Institutions Granted Provisional Affiliation / Extension in Provisional Affiliation by the University of Education, Lahore for the Year 2025-2026”, dated on the University’s page as 26 March 2026. It lists 48 institutions across Punjab and Islamabad, each with its address, the programmes covered, and whether each programme is marked New or Extension.
We retrieved the page and the PDF on 3 September 2026. The University also publishes a list of de-affiliated institutions, whose 26 March 2026 edition we checked on the same day.
Institutions in District Muzaffargarh on the list
Of the 48 institutions, one has an address in District Muzaffargarh. The names and programme titles below are reproduced as the University wrote them.

No institution in Jatoi, Kot Addu or Muzaffargarh city appears on the 2025-26 list, and no District Muzaffargarh institution appears on the 26 March 2026 de-affiliated list. The University spells the college “Ali Pur College”; it is the same institution as Alipur College on this site, at the same address.
The University’s list names programmes by its own titles, which do not always match the names on our programme pages. If a programme you are interested in does not appear against the college on the current list, ask the office to show you the University’s letter for that programme before you pay any fee. We would rather lose an admission than have you find out later.
How to verify an affiliation yourself
- Open the University’s Details of Institutions page and download the PDF with the latest date in its title.
- Search the PDF for the college’s name and for the district. Names are sometimes spelled differently from the signboard, so search the address too.
- Check that the specific programme you want is listed against that college, not just the college’s name.
- Check the de-affiliated institutions list as well.
- Ask the college for its affiliation letter and compare the reference with the list. Our own references are on the affiliation and registration page.
Why the list matters to parents
A private college in Pakistan does not award its own degree. The degree comes from the university the college is affiliated with, and it is that university’s examinations the student sits. If the affiliation is not in place for a programme, the student can complete two or four years of classes and still have no degree to show. The University’s list is the only public document that says, programme by programme, which colleges it has approved for the year.
The list also changes. Provisional affiliation is granted or extended for an affiliation year, which is why each PDF carries a date and a year, and why a separate de-affiliation list exists. A college that was on the list two years ago may not be on it now, and a new programme may be on the list before the college has advertised it. Checking the current document, rather than a photograph of an old letter, is the safest habit.
Keeping this page honest
This page is re-checked against the University’s site whenever a new list is published, and the check date at the top is updated. If you find an entry here that the University’s current list does not support, tell us on 0309-2701114 and we will correct it.
