All admissions are subject to the University of Education, Lahore’s admission regulations for the session. Equivalence certificates are required for O/A-Level and foreign qualifications.

Deficiency courses

Where the University admits a candidate to BS Computer Science or BS IT without Mathematics at Intermediate, it requires a non-credit Mathematics deficiency course during the first year. Eligibility text on each programme page is quoted from the University of Education’s own programme pages (checked 3 September 2026).

Frequently asked questions

I have FA (Arts). Can I do BS Computer Science?
The University of Education’s published requirement is 50% at Intermediate with Mathematics (200 marks) or Computer Science (200 marks) — which ICS holders meet. The college has advertised FA and Pre-Medical entry under an HEC permission; the office will confirm the current rule for your group before you apply.
What is the minimum percentage?
45% at Intermediate for most BS and ADP programmes, as per University of Education rules; BS Computer Science and BS IT require 50% with Mathematics or Computer Science, and BS English also asks for 50% in English. B.Ed programmes require a second division (45%) in the qualifying degree.
Is there an age limit?
No age limit applies to these programmes.
