Overview

The University of Education, Lahore allows holders of an Associate Degree (ADP) or a two-year BA/BSc to join a four-year BS at the fifth semester and complete it in two further years. At Alipur College this applies to the BS programmes we teach — most commonly BS Computer Science and BS IT for ADP CS/IT graduates, and BS Education for BA and B.Ed holders.

The University compares your ADP or degree against its BS scheme of studies and may prescribe bridging courses to fill gaps; these are taken alongside the fifth and sixth semesters. Admission is on merit and subject to seats.

How to apply. Bring your ADP/BA/BSc transcript and degree to the office. We check the relevant discipline and the University’s current rules, tell you which bridging courses apply, and register you for the fifth semester.

Entry requirements

Holders of an Associate Degree (or an equivalent two-year post-Intermediate qualification) in a relevant discipline may be admitted to the fifth semester of the corresponding BS programme, subject to merit, seats and any bridging courses prescribed by the University of Education.
