About Alipur College

Why families choose Alipur College

Not adjectives — the specific things we do that a competing college may not.

1. A degree that is recognised — and that arrives

The degree is awarded by the University of Education, Lahore, an HEC-recognised public university. Just as important in Pakistan, where degree delays are a chronic grievance: the college tracks every student’s result, transcript and degree with the University until it is in their hands. Ask the office about any past batch and we will tell you exactly where it stands.

2. Taught by qualified people

Our faculty hold MPhil and PhD degrees and teach the University’s curriculum in full, in English with Urdu support in class. Every teacher’s qualification and awarding institution is listed in the faculty directory.

3. Safe and reachable for daughters

An air-conditioned girls’ hostel on campus with a resident warden; pick-and-drop transport for female students across the tehsil; CCTV in teaching areas. For many families this is the difference between a daughter studying and not studying. See hostel and transport.

4. Published fees

Every charge is listed per semester on the fee structure page. No “contact us for details”.

5. Facilities that exist

Computer laboratories with Dell and HP workstations, a library of about 10,000 volumes, air-conditioned classrooms. Come and see them — the office is open Monday to Saturday.

6. Close to home

Students from Alipur, Jatoi, Khangarh, Sitpur, Shehr Sultan and the surrounding villages study in their own tehsil, at a fraction of the cost of living in Multan or Lahore.

7. A record, not a claim

Two University of Education medals in the first graduating batch. English Language Proficiency classes among the first in the tehsil. A Board of Studies. Dates and names on the history page and the medallists page.
