Overview

BS Chemistry at Alipur College is the University of Education, Lahore’s four-year chemistry degree: physical, organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry, spectroscopy, biochemistry and environmental chemistry, with laboratory practicals every semester in the college’s own chemistry laboratory.

Chemistry is one of the sciences the college has taught since its early years. The department’s aim is stated plainly: sound knowledge of chemistry, the ability to use it creatively and analytically, awareness of its applications in health, agriculture and industry, and the practical, written and communication skills to work in a laboratory or a classroom.

Students sit University of Education examinations each semester; the college follows up every result, transcript and degree until it is delivered.

Who this suits. FSc students who enjoyed chemistry practicals and want a route into industry, laboratories, science teaching or research.

Entry requirements
