Overview

B.Ed 2.5 years is the University of Education, Lahore’s teaching qualification for candidates with 14 years of education — ADP, BA or BSc. Over five semesters it covers the school subjects to be taught, foundations of education, curriculum and assessment, teaching methods, classroom management and a supervised teaching practicum.

It is the route by which many teachers in this tehsil obtain the recognised qualification without first completing a further two-year degree. Pick-and-drop transport is available for female students.

Students sit University of Education examinations each semester; the college follows up every result, transcript and degree until it is delivered.

Who this suits. ADP, BA and BSc holders who want to teach in schools and need the recognised professional qualification.
