The motto and the crest
Learn to Serve is the college motto: a degree is a means of serving one’s family, one’s town and one’s country, not an end in itself. The crest carries a second line, Knowledge Gives Life To The Soul, around a photograph of Alipur itself — the town the college was built for — beneath a torch and the college name on a blue ribbon.
